St. Luke's School invites our Rowayton neighbors to join Head of School Mary Halpin Carter for a timely discussion.

Rowayton CC
A Special Event at:
Rowayton Community Center Moose Room
33 Highland Avenue
Rowayton, CT 06853

St. Luke’s School is a secular (non-religious) private school for students in grades 5-12. Located in New Canaan, we are a second home to families from 36 towns in New York and Connecticut—including Rowayton.

Head of School Mary Halpin Carter will welcome parents and guardians of school-age children for a discussion that will explore:

  • The importance of giving students a “worthy foundation”—a sense of purpose that will ground them and give meaning to the work at hand.
  • The obligation schools have to produce graduates the world needs—educated, moral, altruistic, and confident in their ability to innovate, collaborate and contribute.
  • The idea that the purpose of education—beyond academic excellence—is to help children discover their full human potential.

This will be an open discussion. We welcome your insights about how parents and schools can work together to ensure children thrive—now and into the future.

We’re coming to you! Parents and guardians of school-age children, please join us at the Rowayton Community Center Moose Room.
